About SLU-PP-332
SLU-PP-332 is a synthetic small molecule, not a peptide, described in the medicinal-chemistry literature as an agonist of the estrogen-related receptors ERRα, ERRβ and ERRγ, with the highest reported potency at ERRα.
The estrogen-related receptors are orphan nuclear receptors involved in regulating genes linked to mitochondrial function, so ERR agonists are used as tool compounds in nuclear-receptor and mitochondrial-biogenesis research.
